Tap into ancient healing wisdom

Acupuncture is a family of procedures originating in China, the most well-known of which involves penetration of specific anatomic locations on the skin, called acupuncture points, by fine hair-like needles.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest and most commonly used forms of natural, traditional medicine in the world—dating back 5000 years

It is based on the ancient Chinese theory of the flow of Qi (Energy) and Xue (Blood) through distinct meridians or pathways that cover and fill the body, somewhat like the nerves and blood vessels do.

Unlock your natural beauty

Address fine lines, wrinkles, skin firmness & skin tone of the face in a safe, natural way with our Cosmetic Acupuncture.

Needles as thin as a strand of hair are carefully inserted into key areas in the face, that trigger an increase in blood flow and activate collagen production. Cosmetic acupuncture promotes subtle, natural-looking changes to the skin over time.

The session also includes a few body needles for stress management or nourishing blood flow.

She was very tender in the needle application and extremely soothing in leading me to relax. I can honestly say it has been a long time since I have felt this relaxed.

I physically and mentally felt better immediately after my session. The full staff was so kind and comforting and I am looking forward to adding regular Infinity Float Center acupuncture sessions to my self care routine immediately.

Open Up & Balance Your Energy

Healthy, open meridians where energy and blood can flow freely are essential for optimal health. Chinese medicine and acupuncture work to treat the whole patient and the root of a problem.

Acupuncture allows Qi to flow to areas where it is deficient, and away from areas where it is in excess.

In this way, acupuncture regulates and restores a harmonious energetic balance in the body. Through comprehensive consultations, quality treatments and compassionate care, acupuncture can help you resolve health problems, be pain free, relaxed and de-stressed, and enjoy a renewed vitality for life.

Enhance Your Experience

Float Therapy

Choose from 60 or 90 minutes of peaceful silence and serenity as you float effortlessly in salty water

When entwined with a float session at Infinity Float Center, the time-honored practice of acupuncture unfolds a profound pathway to holistic wellness. The strategic placement of thin needles during an acupuncture session invigorates the body’s meridians, fostering a harmonious flow of energy that sets the stage for deep-seated healing. As you transition from the acupuncture mat to the serene float tank, this harmonized energy flow melds with the sensory-reduced tranquility of floating, creating a continuum of healing and relaxation.

The meticulous needlework of acupuncture, aimed at relieving physical discomfort and balancing energy, paired with the deep relaxation and mental clarity offered by floating, sets a complementary rhythm of wellness. This blend of ancient wisdom and modern tranquility at Infinity Float facilitates a profound exploration of holistic healing. Through addressing both the energetic and the sensory realms, this pairing promotes an enhanced state of overall well-being, echoing through body, mind, and spirit.

Massage

Massage therapy involves manually manipulating muscles and soft tissues to promote relaxation and alleviate pain.

We invite you to experience holistic rejuvenation by pairing acupuncture with massage therapy. Acupuncture, an age-old practice from traditional Chinese medicine, gently activates your body’s energy pathways or “meridians” through thin needles at strategic points, aiding in alleviating pain and balancing inherent energies.

Coupling this with the tender, stress-releasing touch of a massage creates a synergy that targets physical discomfort and cultivates a deep sense of wellness and tranquility. Our certified practitioners ensure a soothing journey through both modalities, tuning into your body’s unique needs. This combination fosters profound relaxation and well-being, enhancing your body’s natural healing rhythms in a tranquil, nurturing environment.

Acupuncture with Carol was what I needed. Healing from a vertebrae fracture in April. Thank you for getting me in so quickly.

I made a acupuncture appointment when I was in pain but I'm feeling better today. Should I keep my appointment?

Acupuncture works best when you maintain consistent treatment. The idea is to keep your body balanced and functioning well to prevent it from getting to a place where symptoms return.

How does acupuncture work?

Practitioners trained in Oriental Medicine often use vocabulary that is not commonly used in western medicine to describe the human body and disease. (Don’t be put off by that). Translating those ideas, inserting acupuncture needles causes changes in the nervous system and the way the brain and body communicate to one another. Kind of like resetting an electronic device, acupuncture resets the electrical communication in the body thereby creating a situation where the body functions as it should.

I have back acne, a skin condition, didn't shave, etc. Will my therapist be grossed out?

Massage Therapists and Acupuncturists have seen it all. They are used to discussing a lot of natural body issues and are very professional when dealing with embarrassing situations. Don’t let something like that stop you from getting a massage or acupuncture treatment.

Do the needles hurt?

No. Many patients claim not to feel the needles at all. Sometimes there can be a slight stinging or pinching sensation when the needles are first inserted in some areas but it usually dissipates quickly. The needles are placed into energy channels that flow throughout the body. Any pain is due to the energy being stuck/stagnated in that area. The needles break-up this stuck “qi” (pronounced, chi) causing it to flow freely through this area thus reducing pain.

Is there medication on the needles?

Nope, acupuncture is all natural. The needles are placed into energy channels that flow throughout the body stimulating your body’s innate ability to relax & heal.

How big are the needles?

They are very similar to a strand of hair. MUCH smaller than needles used in typical injections or blood draws. You can always ask to see one of the needles they are using.

How many treatments are needed? Why would I need a treatment plan?

Acupuncture stimulates the nervous system which changes the communication and perception going on between the body and the brain. Each treatment builds on the last treatment to help alleviate symptoms. By stimulating acupuncture points frequently, the change in symptoms happens more quickly. While some patients may feel immediate relief, others may not notice changes in symptoms until after 5 (or more) treatments.
Patient Treatment Plans are created for each patient based upon:

  • Pain level or intensity of symptoms reported by the patient The effect said symptoms have on daily activities of the patient
  • The length of time the symptoms have been present
  • The length of time expected to bring symptoms under control

If you are unable to follow the treatment plan created by the acupuncturist, do what you can! Recognize that it may take longer to change the symptoms, but things generally will improve over time if you keep coming consistently. Keep in mind, improvement of symptoms is a process. Treatment plans may be modified once both the patient and the acupuncturist agree that symptoms are under control. Our goal is to help you get back to a life filled with health and wellness.

I would like to book a float and acupuncture on the same day. Which one do I do first, does it matter?

No, it does not matter. They both complement your relaxation journey no matter which one you experience first. Everyone is a little different, we recommend trying it both ways to which combination resonates with you.

Is your acupuncturist licensed?

Yes, all three of our Acupuncturists attended 4 years of schooling and earned a Master’s Degree in Chinese Medicine.

Collectively they have been practicing for nearly 40 years.

Is it safe for me to get acupuncture if I have a medical condition (diabetic, pregnant, epileptic, etc)?

If you are being treated for any condition, please consult with your healthcare provider before scheduling a massage, acupuncture, or float.

Do you reuse the needles?

Absolutely not! Only sterile one-time use needles will be used for your treatment and the used needles will be disposed of properly as medical waste.

What should I expect or be observing after my treatment or throughout my treatment plan?

Pain: Look for a decrease in intensity and/or frequency of pain as well as a reduction in the total area affected.

Cosmetic: Look for an increased glow to the skin due to increase blood flow, tightening of the facial muscles & a softening of lines & wrinkles.

Addiction: Look for a decrease in desire for and/or less enjoyment of alcohol/cigarettes/food as well as stress being more manageable.

Internal medicine: reduction or elimination of main symptoms.

Stress/Anxiety/Depression: stress being more manageable, stabilization in mood, reduction in anxiety/depression symptoms

Other: increase in energy, better sleep, feeling of increased well-being.

How does Cosmetic Acupuncture work?

Needles as thin as a strand of hair are inserted carefully into key muscular connections and creases in the face, causing tiny micro-traumas to the skin that trigger an increase in blood flow and activate collagen production. Collagen is the body’s natural filler. It increases muscle tone and elasticity. The increase in blood flow helps revitalize and nourish the skin, resulting in healthier skin, a dewy glow, and a more youthful appearance. Cosmetic acupuncture promotes subtle, natural looking changes to the skin over time, 12 treatments, are typically recommended.

Great experience. Massage was wonderful and the float is great. It's only my 2nd time to float so I am still learning how to get the most out of (relaxing that is) but I am finding my groove. Will float again soon! The facility is so clean and the float rooms are very roomy. The lounges are very relaxing!

I started with the massage and the massage therapist chatted with me for a few moments to understand what I was looking to get out of the massage, any problem areas I would want worked on, what kind of pressure I prefer etc. I never once felt uncomfortable about what was happening. I was so at ease my mind began to drift and I had to bring myself back to the present moment. The table and room were perfectly warm, there was soft music in the background and it was the perfect environment to be able to fully relax without a care in the world.
